The Sport Department is currently seeking coaches and umpires/referees for the following sports:
- AFL
- Athletics
- Basketball
- Football
- Hockey
- Netball
- Rugby 7's
- Softball
- Tennis
- Touch Football
- Water Polo
Successful coaching applicants will be required to deliver 1-2 training sessions per week as well as attend a weekly Saturday morning fixture. All training sessions are held on site at Loreto Normanhurst either before school (6:30am-8:30am) or after school (3:15pm-5:15pm). Successful applicants will work in conjunction with a Sport Administrator, the Coach Development Coordinator and the Head of Sport to deliver a quality and enjoyable sporting program for the students of Loreto Normanhurst.
Successful umpire/referee applications will be required to officiate fixtures on Saturdays from 7:45am-12:00pm during the season, as well as potentially officiate one-off mid-week Cup or friendly matches as required by the Sport Department.
All applicants must possess a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). Coaching/officiating qualifications/experience are highly desirable.
Applicants must submit a cover letter addressed to Ms Ugonotti, the Principal, a CV and copies of relevant qualifications or certifications. All staff are expected to actively support the Catholic, and specifically Loreto, ethos of the school. The successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a valid Working with Children Check from the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
