Casual Boarding Assistant

We are currently seeking an energetic and dynamic person to join a collaborative team within a large boarding school for girls. This role is integral to the growth and development of the boarders who live at Loreto. Various shifts available during term time.

The Role
  • Ensure active supervision of boarders while on duty
  • Encourage the growth in the boarders as individuals and as a community
  • Contribute and be part of a team that builds positive relationships amongst staff, boaders and parents
  • Prioritise the safety and well-being of students at all times
  • Supervise boarders on activities within and outside the boarding school as required
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Teaching, nursing or youth camp experience would be highly advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work collegially in a team environment
  • Demonstrate personal maturity and a warm and welcoming manner
  • A current CPR, First Aid and Duty of Care Certificate or be willing to obtain these credentials
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
