Oratory Coaches

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the role of Oratory Coach to join our community. Ideally, we are looking for dynamic and energetic individuals who share our passion for Oratory coaching and have the confidence to contribute to the development and improvement of the specific Oratory Program within the School.

The successful candidates will be coaching up to 8 hours per week and need to be available to work between 8am and 10.30pm. 

The Role
  • Assist in delivering a quality Oratory Program across a broad spectrum of skill level, ability and experience
  • Supporting the planning, organising and managing training sessions to develop players’ skills, knowledge and confidence, whilst ensuring these sessions are safe and effective for all students.
  • Providing assistance with pre-season skills and development training sessions, trials and provide input into the creation of the teams.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, support and encouragement to all students.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • All applicants must possess a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
  • Demonstrate relevant coaching experience or relevant experience in debating, public speaking or oratory activites.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills, be reliable and self-motivated.
